IRITEL is a non-profit humanitarian organization with a mission to provide assistance to people living in poverty and to individuals residing in remote or geographically isolated areas with difficult access to health services. It also aims to improve health services in various parts of the world and to integrate modern technologies such as telemedicine.

Our Activities

Activities of IRITEL include the development of standard home care systems, as these models can be implemented with minimal financial investments in poor areas of the developing world.

Additionally, there’s ongoing training for doctors, nurses, and other health practitioners in practical therapeutic techniques.

We have organized:

Three National Home Care Conferences, numerous educational seminars in Athens, Larissa, Thessaloniki, Patras, and Heraklion. An International Conference in Dubai themed ‘Bringing Modern Medicine into Homes’. Continual practical trainings at regular intervals in small groups on difficult venipuncture and wound suturing.
